Palm lines in palmistry

（1）lifeline:

• Lifeline - starting from the palm side between the thumb and index finger, walking to the bottom of the palm. The length of the lifeline does not represent the length of years, but on behalf of the strength of vitality, so the lifeline really should be called to the vitality line.
• Long, deep and rosy lifeline ----- strong vitality, strong resistance to disease, not easily get sick; on the contrary, if the shallow and weak lifeline represents relatively weakness.
• Thick lifeline is suitable for work or sport, fine lifeline is appropriate to use the brain. The palm mound surrounded by lifeline is large, which means full of energy and strong love desire; small range means easily fatigue.
• The beginning of the lifeline (by the palm side) is chain-shaped pattern, which means the people would be valetudinary in childhood.
• End of lifeline is like tassels, which means the people should prevent the geriatric disease.
• If there are island patterns in the lifeline, representing a time of illness or hospitalization, the island pattern size represents the severity and length of time.

（2）Wisdom line

Wisdom line is also known as the brain pattern, it is the most important pattern in palm. In Chinese palmistry this line is on behalf of yourself, also known as people pattern. It has the same starting point with the lifeline, it is best to walk to the little finger, stop at the gap between the ring finger and small finger. Too short wisdom means you would not be smart enough. Too long too smart, which is not good.

• It is better to have deep and fine brain pattern, which means you would concentrate and smart.
• If there are island-shaped patterns in the brain pattern, which means you could not concentrate, have a memory like a sieve or brain frustrated.
• If the external environmental impact study intelligent pattern matches with the starting point of the lifeline and separates after an interval, which means you would be cautious, well considered. If the two lines are linked for too long, which means you would easily worry too much or undecided.
• If the starting point of lifeline matched with the starting point of the wisdom line, then immediately separated, which means you might have decisive personality, and able to adjust to the changing circumstances.
• If two lines separated with interval, which means you would be bold, brave, brave, outgoing and fearless.
• If the starting points of the lines separated for more than half a centimeter, which means you might be reckless.

（3）Heart-line

Heart-line is also known as the heaven pattern or father pattern, it is moderate if it walks from the under palm side of the index finger and goes towards the index finger and into the middle of the forefinger and the middle finger. If it goes straight to the bottom line of the index finger, belonging to the domain of the mind, which means you would pay attention to the spirit of love; If it goes into the below of the middle finger, belonging to the carnal love, which means you would not pay attention to eachother. If under the middle finger bents down, which means reckless love; if the heart-line is long and branched and bends down, which means you would make sacrifice for love.

• Deep and fine hear-line means delicate feelings, shallow and thick heart-line means extensive feelings;
• If there are feathery cross grains up and down the heart-line, which means you would be very warm.  if there are no feathery cross grains down the heart-line and there are feathery cross grains up the heart-line, that is a witty line, which indicates that you would have good reaction and able to adapt yourself quickly to changing condition.
• if the heart-line is chainlike, which means you might be sentimental.
• If there are island-shaped patterns in the heart-line, which means you might have eyes problem, such as myopia, amblyopia or astigmatism.
• If there are island-shaped patterns appearing in other locations, which means you might suffer emotional distress; If the heart-line is broken, which means you might suffer a great deal of frustration in love.

（4）Marriage line

Marriage line is under the little finger's palm side, between the little finger and heart-line. Some people have only one, and some have many, the number is not important, there is always a deep line. If two lines are as deep as each other, the people woule be easily go into a triangular disputes. If you have more than six marriage lines, but can not find the main line, the marriage relationship would be chaotic.

• Long marriage line means stern conditions to select mate, the people would suffer marriage pressure; If it extends under the ring finger and matches with the sun line, which means the people would have good relatives and bring wealth and prestige; If it breaks through the sun line, then there would have negative effect, thus affecting prestige and wealth.
• If the end of the marriage line is branched, which means the people would break up easily.
• If there are island-shape patterns,  which means the people would be separated for some reason.
• If the end of the marriage line is snubby, which means the people would be lack of willingness to marry.

（5）Fate-line

The fate line is to rise from the bottom of the palm, and some people's fate-line can arrive straightly at the root of the middle finger. Some people's fate-line is not a straight grain, but intermittent several patterns, which means the job would be stable, or frequently change work environment.

• If the fate-line rises and stops in the brain pattern (smart line), which means the people might stop work due to their own intelligent decisions.
• If the fate-line rises and stops in the island-shape pattern, which means the people might stop work due to emotional topic.
• If there are two fate-lines, which means the people could have part-time job or develop another sideline.

（6）Success-line (Sun line)

Success line is a straight pattern under the ring finger, it is parallel to the career-line. If there are two success lines, which are called “fame pattern" and mean the people would have a good reputation in the community. If there are too many successful lines, which means the people would have ride range of hobbies, easily distracted. If there are island-shaped patterns or crisscross, which are the destructive success lines, and on behalf of the loss of prestige or money.
